Seyu have many varieties of food and the food quality was good. My guests all like the food because it not oily, not salty and have good food presentation. Further more the Sales manager is very friendly and approachable. I will recommend to those out there who want good food and helpful staffs.

Used Seyu for housewarming last wknd. Food was ok, but portion was too little. Not enough food for all guests. And today my ofis is also catering in Seyu for 70 pax. At the end, some of us need to buy from outside. Normally if we go fo other caterers, always will be some leftovers. This is not due to taste or whatever, but really the portion is too little.

Seyu was recommended by my friend and i had my dad’s birthday party buffet dinner by them.
it was very well done by them as they provide nice deco & warmers for $18.00 menu & above.(thats what they say). the cold dish canapes was amazing & the signature roast duck was great. it was abit late, as partly was due to the loading bay being located too far from the function room.
    but overall was great!

I was keen to try out new caterer for my little gal’s party and found Seyu having good rating from this website.

This was a huge mistake which I wish I should have sticked to the any of the previous caterers I have used.

The service already sucked when I called to confirm the time they will be coming to clear up. Imagine in the end, hubby and I had to clear the table and bring out everything ourselves simply because they were late! Adding to our dismay, the fried rice tasted terrible because it was so dried and hard to swallow!

I have attended my friend house warming. Seyu was providing the catering services for them. The food was really good, especially the Yam cake, Mini glutinous rice . Laksa was superb too. Overall the food standard was one of the best i ever tried. Some of the guests i knew keep praising the food. I can say overall is well done. Finally i get to know 1 more good caterer.

Overall the food is nice. The only thing we commented is the yam paste (is too watery) and the garlic chicken chop with french toast – the french toast turn soft or it will taste even better I guess.
Anyway, the display and the presentation of food is good and as I said, overall the food is nice.

I think we will continue to support and recommend to others.

    Thanks & Best Regards

Everyone thought the setting and food was very good indeed. Overall we were very pleased with how everything turned out. For the food, the duck and the yam paste were outstanding, the rest were very good – the only critique I overheard was the fish’s batter was a little too thick. My wife also thought the choice of environmentally friendly corn–based disposables was highly commendable. As for the setting, it was very nicely done and my guests were impressed by the golden table cloths on the 6-footer tables. Unfortunately tthat meant that the 4-foot table looked a little out of place as it only had the white underlining (without the golden top) which had some obvious oil stains. Other than this minor quibble, all very good. Thank you so much! Best, yc.

The buffet was great and satisfactory overall.

Specific comments on some of the dishes:
Yu Sheng – Good taste. One of my relative told me a few days later, that it taste better than crystal jade’s which she ordered the next day.
Spaghetti – My husband likes it while I think its slightly bland.
    Oat chicken – Thumbs up!
Dessert – Very good! Everyone loves the chewy dumplings in the complimentary sweet broth.
Curry fish (?) – Quite bland in spice combination (I don’t mean chilli) and taste – consider Chilli padi’s lemak dishes, most of the time quite rich in taste and fragrant of both the ingredients as well as sauce/broth
Blueberry drink – the taste is quite nice actually but the colour is a little intimidating (blue food is always difficult to associate with natural) – maybe purple is more acceptable

The setting and deco has won compliments from my family :)

    Hi all,
I just tried Seyu Catering last Saturday at my friend’s baby 1st year birthday party.

Overall, I think the decoration is nice and they are using the bio-degradable forks, plates and spoons, which I feel very good to the environment. ;)

The Yang Zhou Fried Rice is nice. The chicken curry so-so only. However, the drink – Rosy Bandung is kind of too sweet. You all can try to avoid order this drink from the menu.

So overall, I think will only give Seyu a 6.5/10 rating. Cheers!!

So far so many good comments on the food… what about the portion? If i have 60 pax, how much should i order?

    [Reply]

    Hi AT,
From what I see, Seyu Catering will give 10% to 15% extra on the total food ordered. Thus, you don’t have to worry much about the portion – will be sufficient for your guests. Hope this help. :)

We like most of the food. It is tasty and very well received by majority.

Especially the smoke duck, noodle, pawn salad, duck, prawn Yutiao. The desert yam paste is great.. The mango dessert was a let down though.

BTW, you have like to provide those plastic containers for us to pack food (as there are still some left over).

Thank you for the good service provided.

I agreed they deliver good service and tasty food but the sales manager didn’t deliver what he promised. Recently, I ordered the buffet. I was told I will get hotel standard serving tray with roll up cover and water dispenser as well as fresh flowers as decor. However, I get ordinary trays, no drinks dispenser and artificial flowers. Luckily the display still presentable. I don’t think I will order from them again.

My guests like the food and set-up very much, especially the chocolate fondue counter. The set-up with the flower petals fits our theme very much. Overall it is very good. And special thanks to you, Aaron, for doing such a great job even after working hours, to ensure that the request of the customers are delivered and for reassuring us that everything will be fine.

I would like to share with everyone as I have been catering with Seyu for a number of years and their food is above average. Recently, I celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday and one of my friend introduced a new caterer to me called Wanomi catering. As it was from my good friend I decided to use them. To my amazement the food and presentation was way above my expectation. All my guests were so impressed with the taste and presentation of the food and there were absolutely no leftovers. I am definitely catering from them for my company’s seminars and would greatly encourage everyone to use them. Great Job Wanomi Catering.
