I celebrated my son’s 1-yr party last sat with Boatel BBQ and it was a disaster. OK, it was raining so we had to make do with the grill/oven/stove indoors, but what really irk me was the poor service standards of the company. They messed up my order TWICE even though I had sent them a detailed list of the items by email, and on the day of the BBQ, they messed up the delivery time and were ONE AND A HALF HOURS late!!! Imagine, my guests have arrived and there’s nothing to eat. I can accept half hour lateness due to the pouring rain, but 1.5 hours late???

Service with a heart.
I had the pleasure of engaging the service of Boatel BBQ recently when the organization I worked for held an outreach programme at one of the Homes for the Intellectually Disabled. I was met with good, friendly and efficient service. The staff even went the extra mile by calling me outside of her working hour to get back to me on a query. Furthermore, the delivery charge was waived off when they were told that it was a charity event. Boatel BBQ is indeed a catering service with a heart.

I would say the overall standards of service has been up to the mark. The quality of food was something worth mentioning as all my guests really enjoyed themselves, the delivery was spot on and on time, the service is also generally very friendly and customer-oriented. They even took the initiative to make changes to my order after consulting me such that the items are more affordable and suitable. One down side would probably be the quantity of food not being sufficient for the number of people it is stated to cater to. Overall, it is still a good experience, thank you.
